I was listening to oldies all day and I'm coming to a conclusion that I was born in the wrong generation. GAHHH I HATE THIS GENERATION. The thing about where I live, everyone IS THE SAME. Everyone says, does, and wears the same thing. All the girls at my school wear Juicy Couture and Victoria's Secret and likes Uggs and Starbucks and all have sparkly phones. Everyone talks about the same, superficial things like "I wanna get Louboutins. I'm gonna dye my hair and get fake nails and buy my dog another pair of fluffy booties." I feel like no one actually has depth. No one dares to be different. I can't relate to anyone and sometimes I wish I had different friends. I really like knowledge, like when people know a lot about music or art or movies or culture. I like hearing different opinions. I want to get out of my comfort zone. I want to leave this town and just leave as far as possible. I feel like school is where I am learning things that I'm not particularly excited about, when I can be traveling the world, meeting different people, and not feeling so depressed all the time. I needed to get that out. *LE SIGH*
 
What books should I read next? I keep re-reading and it's honestly not a problem because I like re-reading my old books but I need new ones.

Challenge 7 : Princesses
Model : Emilie Pois (Erin Heatherton)
Synopsis : Rapunzel is a classic fairytale about a lost princess who finds her way home with the help of a bandit. She is characterized with long, luscious golden locks of hair and a charming face. Usually throughout the Disney and storybook interpretations, she is shown wearing many pastel colors. Here is my interpretation. On the left we have 2 looks that stay true to the classic princess feel. Look # 1 shows Rapunzel's long hair with flowers braided along it, like it says in the story. I created a chiffon and silk gown with embedded sequins. The sparkly ruching at the top of the bodice gives it a fairytale look. I dyed different pastel colors into one white sheer fabric to make the skirt of the gown so it looks like it's fading into each other. Look # 2 is Rapunzel's work look. In the story she is stuck in a tower and works and runs errands all day. She thinks her purpose is to be a wench but she doesn't know she is a princess. Her dress is supposed to be very old and raggedy. Here is my take on this look, I made a ruffled top with a corset lace belt. I tied the rope around the waist to show that the dress had been falling apart. The skirt is a petticoat made of all different kinds of chiffons, lace, and silk.
 
Now, here are my looks of Rapunzel for the modern, every day girl. Look # 3 shows a party outfit using the same color palette as the iconic princess. Hand made multi chained pearl necklaces drip off her collar. I represent to you a pastel, salmon embellished mini dress inspired by Rapunzel. I cropped it since I feel like not all princesses need to wear gowns. To top the outfit off, I added sparkling stilettos and minor cuffs and bracelets. This shows the modern party girl. Look # 4 is another work look. It shows the contemporary business woman of our century. I created a high collar, lace blouse made of the same fabric from the vintage work look. An elaborate, chunky necklace is added to give this look a twist. I made a scalloped pastel, pink pencil skirt for the working lady feel.

I remember I've always wanted to be an angel since I was 6. I remember the whirlwind of sparkly outfits, wings, and feathers that made all the angels seem so effortlessly beautiful and glamourous. I remember wanting to be like that. I /really/ want to be a Victoria's Secret Angel when I grow up. *cries hysterically*

My mom is finally letting me redo my room! (It's so weird how her decision of that took such a long time because she's an interior designer... -.-) Anyway, so it's kinda gonna look like this. I want a white or pale bed. I'm gonna have a sheer canopy curtain around it. Christmas lights will be along the edges of the walls. I want my room color to be a lilac or pastel pink. My vanity table will be my desk and I'll have roses and cute little picture frames. My organization with books will be a little messy, but that's how I want it. Eep, so excited!! After I have my room done I'll probably make more Youtube videos.
